OutKast - Aquemini album FLAC

Aquemini is the third studio album by American hip hop duo Outkast. It was released on September 29, 1998, by LaFace Records. The title is a portmanteau of the two performers' Zodiac signs: Aquarius (Big Boi) and Gemini (André 3000), which is indicative of the album's recurring theme of the differing personalities of the two members. The group recorded the majority of the album in Bobby Brown's Bosstown Recording Studios and Doppler Studios, both in Atlanta, Georgia.

While their sophomore album ATLiens was a complete departure from their Southernplaylistic debut album, Aquemini took their new sound to another level.

Outkasts third album "Aquemini" (the name being a combination of Andre and Big Boi's star signs) played a major part in taking Outkast to mainsteam popularity (the bigger leap would be made on "Stankonia" and then the Diamond selling "Speakerbox/Love below"). One of the bigger leaps however was in content, moving from "ATLiens" image of "genies" and "pimps", "Aquemini" took a more serious approach to issues facing the US black community, morality and the state of the world.
