Freak Like Me" is the debut single by American R&B singer Adina Howard. It was released on January 25, 1995 as the lead single from her debut album, Do You Wanna Ride?. It reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks, as well as number two on the Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart for four weeks, behind "This Is How We Do It" by Montell Jordan in both cases, and was certified platinum by the RIAA for sales of one million copies.

After Siobhan Donaghy left Sugababes in 2001, and new member, Heidi Range, replaced her. Freak Like Me" was released by the Sugababes in late April 2002. The single is taken from the girls' sophomore album "Angels With Dirty Faces". Freak LIke Me" debuted at number one on the UK Singles Charts catapulting the Sugababes into UK music history. The single also saw the the introduction of Heidi Range (the longest surviving member to date) who replaced Siobhán Donaghy after leaving the group 2001. The original recorded Sugababes version features vocals from the second line-up consisting of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Heidi Range
