Vangelis - La Fête Sauvage album FLAC

Actually, Frederic Rossif's film, La Fete Sauvage, is translated into English as "The Wilderness Party," but it still doesn't scream out electronic space music. To accommodate the new environment, the first part of Vangelis' score incorporates some animal screams of its own, along with African drums and chanting to create a semi-electronic melange

La Fête sauvage (The Wild Party) is an original score album, by Greek composer Vangelis (as Vangelis Papathanassiou in some releases), from the 1975 documentary about animal wildlife La Fête Sauvage, by Frédéric Rossif. La Fête sauvage I" – 18:12. La Fête sauvage II" – 20:18. La Fête sauvage is the most world music-oriented of his soundtracks for Frédéric Rossif, compared to the mostly pacey L'Apocalypse des animaux and the highly melodic "classic Vangelis sound" of Opéra sauvage.

In 1973, Vangelis released his second solo album Earth, a d album with various additional musicians including Robert Fitoussi and Aphrodite's Child bandmate Silver Koulouris. The line-up performed and released a single entitled "Who" in 1974 under the name Odyssey, including a concert that Vangelis held at the Paris Olympia in February 1974. Several months later Vangelis travelled. This was released in 1975 and re-released two years later. In 1976 Vangelis released his second soundtrack for a Rossif animal documentary, La Fête sauvage, which combined African rhythms with Western music. This was followed in 1979 by a third soundtrack for Rossif, Opéra sauvage. Almost as well known as L'Apocalypse des animaux, this soundtrack brought him to the attention of some of the world's top filmmakers.

La Fête sauvage (The Wild Party) is an original score album, by Greek composer Vangelis (as Vangelis Papathanassiou in some releases), from the 1975 documentary about animal wildlife La Fête Sauvage, by Frédéric Rossif. The first part of the album features a mixture of electronics, percussion, animal sounds, and tribal chanting which is extremely evocative of the nature of the film project. The second part moves into more familiar Vangelis territory, with lush electronic soundscapes and sweet melodies, yet still well in keeping with the movie's themes.
