Mariah Carey - Fantasy album FLAC

Fantasy (Mariah Carey song). Fantasy" is a song by American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey from her fifth studio album Daydream (1995), released in September 12, 1995 by Columbia Records as the lead single from Daydream. The song was written by Carey and Dave Hall, both serving as primary producers alongside Sean "P. Diddy" Combs.

Produced by Dave Jam Hall. Oh, when you walk by every night Talking sweet and looking fine I get kind of hectic inside Mmm, baby, I'm so into you Darling, if you only knew All the things that flow through my mind. But it's just a sweet, sweet fantasy, baby When I close my eyes, you come and take me On and on and on, it's so deep in my daydreams But it's just a sweet, sweet fantasy, baby (Fantasy) (And I want you so bad)

The Remixes is the first remix album by American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey, released in the United States on October 3, 2003 by Columbia Records. It is primarily a collection of remixes of some of Carey's songs: disc one is compiled of club mixes, while disc two contains Carey's hip hop collaborations and remixes. The album features Carey's duet with Busta Rhymes, "I Know What You Want" (2003), originally recorded for Rhymes' album It Ain't Safe No More.

Mariah Carey's "Fantasy" is one of the best songs that she's ever recorded. While I enjoy listening to both the album version and the Bad Boy Remix featuring the late, great Ol' Dirty Bastard, I like the Bad Boy Remix a little bit more simply because I like hip-hop/R&B music and more than pop music. Complete your Mariah Carey collection. Fantasy" is Classic Mariah from the Golden Age of her career in the Mid-90s. The album version is an extremely slick slice of RnB, it was everywhere at the time - that Autumn it came out you couldn't get away from it. The release also features several David Morales remixes. The Def Club Mix never really grabbed me - perhaps it's overblown length or the fact it never really seems to settle into it's own groove.

Notes

(Tracks #2 and #3 are NOT identical. Track #3 is the remix most people are familiar with. This version completely omits the chorus from the album version and substitutes the bridge from the album version instead. Track #2 is structured similarly, but appends the first two instances of the bridge with the original chorus from the album version. The original chorus occurs at approximately 1:24 and 2:19.)

Reviews about Mariah Carey - Fantasy (6):

16 years later and the Def Club Mix remains my favorite remix of all time dating back to the late 70's when songs were reissued as extended versions/remixes. I remember a radio station in Dallas that premiered the Def Club Remix. I don't know if the DJ had permission to play the 11 minute version, but he did and said, "If this doesn't give you goosebumps, you're dead inside."

Morales' best remix. When I first experienced this remix (because it is an experience), I was rendered speechless, but my body couldn't stop moving. This remix has it all: it's playful, sensual, deep, demanding, and beautiful. That build a little over midway through is otherworldly.

Never was able to tell the difference between tracks 2 and 3. Any hardcore MC fans could make an input? Both tracks feature O.D.B. on the rap and have the same structure. Maybe one is "clean" and the other isn't?

Hi - I've been curious about this too for many years now, so I actually sat down and examined this issue a few months ago, by comparing the waveforms of the CD ripped versions side-by-side, and I can confirm that tracks 2 & 3 (plus "Puffy's Mix" from import CD single) are nearly identical except for these very subtle differences:Puffy's Mix = the "main" version of this RemixBad Boy Fantasy = has 18 seconds of additional backing vocals at 1:23 & 2:19 that the other 2 versions don't haveBad Boy w/ ODB = has echo/reverb on the words "fire" & "jump jump" at 3:14 that the other 2 versions don't have
deadly claw
Don't care what anyone says, that remix with ODB is essential

Brilliant music, I'm not a fan of Mariah's music or the genre (RnB). But god damn, this is one hell of a catchy and romping song. I get goosebumps everytime I listen to it. Love the keyboards, the drum pattern, Mariah's vocal howls all throughout. You can really hear the emotion in this one juxtaposed with the upbeat, exuberant flavor of the track. One of my personal favorites.
