The Cure - Fading Roots album FLAC

Faith is the third studio album by British alternative rock band the Cure, released on 14 April 1981 by record label Fiction. Preceded by the single "Primary", the album was a commercial success in the UK, peaking at number 14 and staying in the albums chart for 8 weeks. It was mostly well received by critics. Faith saw the Cure continuing in the gloomy vein of 1980's Seventeen Seconds, which would conclude with the band's next album, Pornography.

The Cure is the eponymous twelfth studio album by British alternative rock band The Cure. The album was released on 29 June 2004 by record label Geffen, and promoted with the single "The End of the World". The album was entirely produced by American producer Ross Robinson, known for his work with bands like Korn and Limp Bizkit. 1 Production and content. The Cure was co-produced by Cure frontman Robert Smith and Ross Robinson, who has previously worked with bands such as Korn, Vanilla Ice, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, At the Drive-In, Glassjaw and The Blood Brothers. This may explain why the songs on the album are significantly heavier than previous material by the band. Robert Smith has described the record as "Cure heavy", as opposed to "new-metal heavy". According to the liner notes, the entire album was recorded live in the studio.

Certainly not the "darkest" the Cure would eventually get, Faith is, as represented by the cover art, one of the most "gray" records out there. Melancholy and despondent (the feel of funerals and old churches just oozes from this record) without the anger that would over take Pornography, Faith comes off as not just a collection of songs, but as a full piece.

Some songs are cut short and have pauses in between tracks making it hard to distinguish what tracks are the concert and what tracks are the John Peel and Kid Jensen sessions.
