Mike Berry - not to be confused with his contemporary Dave Berry - was a pop/rock singer who gained his initial fame as part of the stable of artists produced by the legendary Joe Meek. His best known record, "Tribute to Buddy Holly" is one of the most fondly remembered singles of the pre-Beatles era in England, as well as a touching memorial to its subject, with a bravura performance by Berry. After two missed, Berry charted a second hit, "Don't You Think It's Time," in late 1962, which made the British Top Ten at what later proved to the tail-end of the pre-Beatles era in British pop music. He followed this up with another Top 40 appearance in the spring of 1963, with the song "My Little Baby. In 2006, he released About Time Too, an album cut with the surviving members of the Crickets in Nashville.

Don't You Think It's Time?" is the first single to be taken from Bob Evans' (aka Kevin Mitchell from Jebediah) second album Suburban Songbook. The single was released 13 May 2006 and reached on the ARIA Singles Chart. It also reached on Triple J's Hottest 100 for 2006. The album was produced by Nashville-based Brad Jones (Josh Rouse, Yo La Tengo, Sheryl Crow, Jill Sobule) at the 'Alex the Great Studios' in Nashville and features Ken Coomer (ex-Wilco) on drums.
