It's 32 minutes plus of Alice Cooper talking to an unidentified host/interviewer around the time of the 1986 Constrictor album on MCA. The CD states plainly "Not an Epic Records release" (as it was published when Cooper signed to Epic), but it features a striking cover, with the artist in his ringmaster garb emerging from a red background. The presentation sure looks like a music disc! Had "Interview Disc" been stamped on the front (as it is on the back) the marketing would be less deceptive, though Cooper's hardcore fans certainly can figure out what this is all.
Originally Released: 1989. Label: Tell Tales Records. The Best of 20 Years of Rock (CD). The Rock Album (2CDs).
The album shows a young band with plenty of potential, there are no big power ballads or indeed songs that would go down a storm at parties, just pure, though perhaps in need of some tweaking, metal. With great vocals from Joey Tempist, John Norum on top form with the guitar, and some of these more aggressive sounding tracks hold up remarkably well for an album released in 1983. The opening track 'In The Future To Come' is impressive, and 'The King Will Return' should have become their first anthem.
