The way the material is recorded it sounds like the old bootleg stuff of Dylan etc, but I guess that was the way the concert was recorded at the time. The LP represents 10 concerts in the UK, so my guess it is not a bootleg but intended for release. I love all the tracks but standout is Tea For Two by Earl Hines. The way he tickles the ivory is something else.

Sounds of Yesteryear's 2004 release of a concert recording made at the Olympia Theatre in Paris on November 6, 1957 added a valuable chip to an expanding mosaic of historic European jazz recordings that continue to be pulled out of the woodwork and offered up for global distribution.

He is usually considered the most innovative jazz trombone stylist of the pre-bebop era.
