Listen free to Vardis – Vigilante (Learn How to Shoot Straight, Running and more). Vigilante was the end of an era, not just for Vardis but also for music production. 1985 saw the advent of a digital revolution, and sound would never be recorded in the same way again. This album only ever came out under license on vinyl in ’86, with the masters lying forgotten in storage ever since. Fantastic vocals, some stellar riffs with gifted lyrics and I'm listening to a track that would be comfortable in any Rock era. Learn How To Shoot Straight is a rock-solid track that makes me think "Core-Rock" in that it's Rock to the Core, not unlike Motorhead yet the style is all it's own. Excellent Rock Album with lyrical depth that begs the question, "What does it mean to you?" I think I better explain myself on that one.
