Sex Pistols - "The Filth And The Fury" album FLAC
The Filth and the Fury is a 2000 British rockumentary film directed by Julien Temple. It focuses on the story of the punk rock pioneers Sex Pistols, and is considered a continuation of Temple's first documentary centered on the band, The Great Rock and Roll Swindle. The Filth and the Fury is the second movie Julien Temple made about The Sex Pistols. His first effort was The Great Rock and Roll Swindle, which was released in British cinemas on 15 May 1980
With their ‘The Filth & The Fury’ headline, the ‘Daily Mirror’ lit the touchpaper for a hate campaign against Sex Pistols in 1977 – as this gallery shows. Here’s The Sex Pistols, after the band found a new home with Virgin Records. Despite a blanket ban by numerous department stores, the album still topped the UK Top 40 and even survived a legal charge on the grounds that it was indecent printed matter after Virgin Records’ Nottingham store prominently displayed the record sleeve in its window display

The Sex Pistols left their legacy in a whirlwind 26-month reign, spitting out a caustic, confrontational brand of rock & roll that became the rallying cry for angry, disaffected youths in late 1970s England and defined the punk movement. Their story was first told two decades ago in the cynical The Great Rock and Roll Swindle, also directed by Temple but produced by the Sex Pistols' smarmy manager, Malcolm McLaren, who stage-managed the film into a self-promoting vanity project. For The Filth and the Fury, Temple turns to the four surviving band members to tell their own stories. Far superior to "The Great Rock & Roll Swindle," "The Filth and the Fury" is a well-rounded, honest look at the history and aftermath of the most influential rock band of the last quarter of the twentieth century. Will they be making documentaries about N'Sync or Kid Rock or Eminem or Creed in 25 years?
The leather cal patches formula didn’t get big until the middle class kids got into it (and no safety pin facial piercings, either). In the early shows, there were usually under a dozen kids who looked anything like punk- and when they did, it was a lot of bright colors, BDSM gear, smudged make up, and glitter. Sources include both of Johnny Rotten’s autobiographies, The Filth and the Fury, Passion is a Fashion/a biography on the Clash, Bernard Sumner’s autobiography, an article on Manchester punk by a journalist who came of age there, and several other photos and articles I’ve stumbled across.
The Sex Pistols were an accident, not an iconoclasm, and the words of all four original members make that clear from the outset. Rotten, Jones, Cook, and Matlock swerve from justifiable arrogance to becoming humility with every breath.
