The J. Geils Band - "Live" Full House album FLAC

Live" Full House is the first live album by American rock band The J. Geils Band, released in 1972. The album peaked at on the Billboard 200 album chart in the United States. The tracks "Looking for a Love" and "Serves You Right to Suffer" enjoyed considerable radio airplay, thus setting up the breakthrough success of the band's next album, 1973's Bloodshot. The album was cited as one of the top five live rock'n'roll albums of all time by Walter de Paduwa.

Live" Full House was their first live record, and it is a blast from start to finish. Recorded in 1972 at Detroit's Cinderella Ballroom, the group runs through songs from their first two albums, The J. Geils Band and The Morning After, kicking out the jams on rockers like the Motown chestnut "First I Look at the Purse," Otis Rush's "Homework," and one of the group's first self-penned classics, "Hard Drivin' Man," as well as positively.

Producer – The J. Geils Band. Producer, Engineer – Geoffrey Haslam. Recorded Live on April 21 & 22, 1972 at the Cinderella Ballroom, Detroit, Michigan.

Produced by The J. Geils Band & Geoffrey Haslam. Album Live Full House. Cruisin' for a Love (Live Full House) Lyrics. Hang it out. Back in the city, I'm cruisin' for a love again Back on ole Main Street, I'm cruisin' for a love again Got my mind made up baby, I'm going to find myself a friend. Oh baby, I don't know what to do Baby baby baby baby, I don't know what to do Ain't no mathematician baby, but I'd sure like to count on you Aw, three four times a da. .

Live, 1972, WEA, Atlantic Records. Album, 1973, Atlantic Records. 1. (Ain't Nothin' But A) House Party. 2. Make up Your Mind. Best of the J Geils Band.

Read about Houseparty from The J. Geils Band's Live - Blow Your Face Out and see the artwork, lyrics and similar artists. The band started as an acoustic blues trio in the mid 1960s with singer and guitarist J. Geils (born February 20, 1946; died April 10, 2017), bassist Danny Klein (Dr. Funk) and harpist Richard Salwitz (stage name Magic Dick).

The J. Geils Band's 1970 debut album didn't make much of a splash sales-wise, but it kicked off the career of one of America's finest R&B bands with plenty of punch. The band had already honed their blues/rock/soul amalgam with sweat-soaked shows on countless stages, so they were firing on all pistons by the time they cut these tracks

This release is different in several aspects from previous releases, with the most obvious being the switching of order between the first two tracks on Side Two. On this release, "Cruisin' For A Love" begins Side Two, followed by "Serves You Right To Suffer." (The label and back cover show the original order, which makes them errors for this release.)
