New Junk Aesthetic is the fifth studio album by American metalcore band Every Time I Die. It was the band's first album to be released by their new record label, Epitaph Records Contents. On July 22, Every Time I Die posted the first minisode of their new weekly web series, Shit Happens: The Series? which featured various live footage as well as snippets of tracks from New Junk Aesthetic. A press release explained the concept: Over the next 12 weeks, Every Time I Die will unveil episodes that are packed to the gills with impromptu footage showcasing the band's signature brand of humor that has made them infamous amongst their fans and peers alike. This is by no means a scripted reality show containing foreseeable plot twists and over-dramatic story arches.
