Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine album FLAC

The album is compiled of reworked tracks from the Purest Feeling demo, as well as songs composed after its original recording. Production of the record was handled by Flood and Trent Reznor, among other contributors.

Pretty Hate Machine (also known as Halo 2) is the first studio album by Nine Inch Nails, released on October 20, 1989 by TVT Records and was a huge success. The first single off of the album, Down In It, was released on September 27, 1989. It received radio airplay for the aforementioned single as well as subsequent singles Head Like A Hole and Sin. The former also serves as a companion remix album of sorts to Pretty Hate Machine. Head Like A Hole" – 4:59. Terrible Lie" – 4:38.

Band Name Nine Inch Nails. Album Name Pretty Hate Machine. Released date 20 October 1989. Members owning this album224.

Nine Inch Nails Nominated for 2015 Rock Hall Induction. Compared to NIN’s later works, the album has a rickety homemade charm. And yet for all the bleakness and rage, Pretty Hate Machine is a hell of a pop record. The album hit No. 75 on the Billboard 200 and has since gone triple platinum. It’s also an invitation into a world Reznor would further flesh out on The Downward Spiral (1994) and The Fragile, landmark albums that reached No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200, respectively.

Reviews about Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine (1):
Kerry
Fantastic sound on this pressing. I had been looking forward to picking up the 2010 remaster but then started hearing things about it being a victim of the loudness wars (http://theninhotline.net/features/halo.profiles/halo02R/). So instead I kept an eye out for a decent 1989 copy. Happy to say it sounds brilliant and not very expensive for a VG to VG+ copy. Recommended.
