Lyres Lyres - Студийный альбом от Lyres. В альбом вошло 42 треков. Продолжительность альбома: 02:27:46. If You Want My Love. Someone Who'll Treat You Right Now (bonus track). How Do You Know? 03:13. No Reason to Complain. I Love Her Still, I Always Will.

Originating from Massachusetts, Lyres were maybe the one '80s band that came so close to recapture the rockabilly stripped down sound and the aesthetics of the British invasion. That’s not only due to the fact that two Kink tunes, and a couple more originating from Pete Best and New Colony Six, were covered; it’s not even due to the organ retro driven sound of Conolly impregnating '60s all over the place.

Not Looking Back, 04:20. You'll Never Do It Baby, 03:22. I Love Her Still, I Always Will, 03:15. No Reason to Complain, 03:26. The Only Thing, 04:04.

Reviews about Lyres - For Hyre (2):
My mistake, when added this I've missed that it was already in the database, sorry
A bootleg single that arrived to record shops around 1992. Lack of info on these recordings on cover. Only stated: Numbered limited edition of 500 with 'Butch Records' label imprint on back cover, no catalogue number and solid black labels. There is a version with a different color sleeve (yellow?), maybe color vinyl too.The two tracks in this single surfaced (officially) later first in 4th Lyres album 'Happy Now' in 1992, and some years later in the 1998 Lyres' back catalogue digital reissues on Matador Records, on CD AHS 1005 (OLE 303-2) with no further information on these tracks; the credited line-up is the same one that recorded de 1981 ep. Surely it was, b side (100cc) was part of Lyres repertoire in the early years.
