Though it was the Suns' similar-sounding 1947 re-make for RCA Victor that was most commonly heard through the decades, this first version of their famous theme, issued on Eli Oberstein's HIT label, is how it sounded during its initial run in 1944-45. Reviews about The Three Suns - Twilight Time (1):
Gozragore
Obliviously an anthology, nearly identical to some 78 albums of the 1940s, housing the classic title track and some vocal cuts. When it comes to lounge, the Suns were above the pack, just using electric organ, accordion and acoustic guitar.-- winch (Winch Records: only the good ones...the good, the ODD and the wonderful.)
