The Old Oaken Bucket is a traveling trophy awarded in American college football as part of the Indiana–Purdue rivalry between the Indiana Hoosiers football team of Indiana University and Purdue Boilermakers football team of Purdue University. It was first awarded in 1925. Indiana and Purdue first met on the gridiron in 1891. The rivalry has been renewed annually every year in peacetime with some exceptions. Purdue leads the overall series 74–41–6.

NotesThe Edison Male Quartet recorded this selection four times for release on Edison 2216. It is not clear which version is represented by this entry:
First version was released on Edison brown wax cylinders in 1898.
Second version was released on moulded black wax cylinders in 1902. First pressings have no information pressed into the cylinder rim, but just a faint patent notice, Edison's signature and catalog number etched into the space following the last grooves. This release, which has the title, etc, in bold white at the end of the cylinder likely dates to sometime after August, 1904.
Two additional recordings of this selection were made and released on Edison 2216 in November 1907 and September 1908.
