Massada is a Dutch/Molukian live band with latin/funk/rock influences, founded in the Netherlands around 1973. They had various hits over the 70s and 80s in the Netherlands and Belgium and performed all over Europe. The most solid factor over the years is founder Johnny Manuhutu. Published albums are Astaganaga (1978), Pukul Tifa (1979), Pusaka (1980), Massada Live (1981), Baru (1981) and a DVD in 2005 called Massada 25 years live.
