Trust Fund's sophomore album Seems Unfair is an indie rock record with the bright, shaggy-dog qualities of early Superchunk, and it often recalls early Los Campesinos! minus the hyperactive streak. They are at their best when they throw in a soured note or stall the pace just as a song threatens to get too comforting. Trust Fund is essentially Bristol-based songwriter Ellis Jones, whose records and tours are rounded out by a rotating cast of musician friends from around the UK. Seems Unfair is his second album of 2015. Back in February, Jones released Trust Fund's debut No One's Coming for Us, which he broke down in a track-by-track feature with unusually transparent remarks on his inspirations.

This album has an average beat per minute of 132 BPM (slowest/fastest tempos: 90/180 BPM). See its BPM profile at the bottom of the page. Tracklist Seems Unfair. BPM Profile Seems Unfair. Release date: 30 October 2015. Country: United Kingdom. Despite coming just months after the band’s debut LP, Seems Unfair marks a surprising step-up from Trust Fund, and though the DIY twee sensibility of No One’s Coming For Us is still present in swathes, it’s far from a record comprised of that album’s cast offs

Their second full length in a year, Trust Fund have produced an album that is focussed and laced with hooks and indie pop sensibility. In a prolific year Trust Fund are back with their second full length offering, their debut No One’s Coming For Us still remaining one of our highlights. An eclectic mix of emphatic indie pop, incessant hooks and excited vocals, the fact that they’re already back has us filled with glee.
