Paul Oakenfold - Perfecto Presents... Great Wall album FLAC

Формируйте собственную коллекцию записей Paul Oakenfold. This is one of Paul's better mix comps imo because of the flow and track selection. The tracks all flow together nicely which is something Oakey hasn't always done in the past, I mean lets be honest he's not really know for his amazing mixing skills. I also like the deeper feel to this album and its not a bunch of club bangers one after another

Perfecto Presents: Another World is the twelfth DJ mix album by British electronic music producer Paul Oakenfold, released in 2000. It is the second instalment in his Perfecto Presents series, a series of DJ mix albums themed around Oakenfold's label Perfecto Records. The album employs Oakenfold's progressive trance sound and sees a return to the Goa trance sound he had helped popularise with Goa Mix (1994) and Perfecto Fluoro (1996)

Paul Oakenfold - Bunkka Paul Oakenfold's Bunkka is his long awaited first "artist" album and is named after the recording studio it was recorded at. After the single release of the brilliantly enchanting southern sun (respect to dj tiesto rmx) I was expecting something more dance music oriented. As Oakenfold intended however, this crosses over and blurs musical genres in and is supposedly his representation of his entire music career.

First disc was doing very well until the twelve car pile up that we call Madonna was thrown in there. There oughta be a law. Cd 2 drives this bus in less of a 4 on the floor direction and leans heavier on breakbeats and vocals. Like the haunting Fear (UNKLe mix) and then promptly decided to make everyone regret their decision to listen to this CD with the inexcusable length of the Bjork track. Infusion kinda gets things back on track, but reminds me of when Depeche Mode tried too hard to prove they could play instruments other than a synthesizer. I get it, it sounds like a real guitar loop. Zero is funky (especially when the bass drops out) and the rest of the CD creates an airy if not euphoric vibe that was enjoyable. Aside from the two pop princess remixes this is still a pretty good mix that I feel has aged well.

This is one of Paul's better mix comps imo because of the flow and track selection. Starting with Darksides Thomas Penton mix is perfect and I have to say that Bill Hamel's remix of Cry Me A River is on of my favorite tracks on the album. The tracks all flow together nicely which is something Oakey hasn't always done in the past, I mean lets be honest he's not really know for his amazing mixing skills. I also like the deeper feel to this album and its not a bunch of club bangers one after another. This is just a nicely mixed good sounding album that's a really good listen for prog house and trance fans (well maybe not hard trance/house fans).

Deep House or Progressive that skillfully mixes in some pop. Highly underrated....

It's Oakenfold, and it's 2003. As expected, it's pop-dance and brings contributions from the likes of Madonna and Justin Timberlake. If that's your thing, then this CD is for you. However, I'd suspect if you're on discogs, you're looking for a bit more sophistication in your music.

CD 1 starts off as a snooze fest of bland melodic Crap all in the same key which makes for easy mixing something Oakenfold has finally mastered with this release or should I say his engineers. I like the way he leads you up the garden path of Justin Trousersnake vocals into a great big steaming turd of it with Skip Raiders Another Day. It picks up the pace finally with progressions from Casa Flava De Moma De and then its all down hill from here with none other than Dopenfolds own remix of Madonna's HOLLYWOOD, the irony here is too much to bare. To make matters even worse we are treated to Elvis & James Bond which been removed on this release obviously due to verbal abuse from fans at the time and its curtains for CD 1.....is this real life???CD 2 starts off with breakbeat indie chart music which is half decent and flows quite well if thats your bag but that soon ends and we are then taken back midway through to boring electro melodic crap with vocals that make me want to hang myself. give me his cheesy Tranceport cds anyday....Not.Did I mention he looks like a gorilla with award winning eyebrows on the front cover..no? Goodbye Dopenfold your contributions will not be missed.

how many noted dj's actually put the manual effort into mixing the tracks for a public release very very few ,,, most simply let the PC programs do the mixing .

One of the most underestimated Oakenfold releases, on which he actually delivers. And he delivers magic in 1999ish proportions, in a way he's only capable of. Those 2 discs include some of the most beautiful tracks of 2003 in the genre (like Motorcycle's, Leama & Moor's and Solar Stone's), with whom most followers are familiar with. You can't forget Infusion remixing Bjork on this one, or Junkie XL doing the same to Dave Gahan, and of course, the utterly beautiful (and very, very hard to get on vinyl) trance version of Mercury Skies, courtesy of John B. The first disc flows perfectly, with a fantastic track selection. Honestly, I don't care if there's Justin or Madonna. Just have a look how much effort has been put into creating such an atmosphere in their remixes. Or take disc two, which begins with emotional, lush and layered breaks which on the second half of the CD transform into progressive trance. Big tracks as usually with Oakey, but he knows how to keep you interested. This incredible atmosphere and emotion made many non-electronic music lovers play those 2 CDs numerous times. For me this is the last flawless mix CD Oakenfold has made in recent years. I don't consider it to be in the same category with Creamfields, which also has its stellar moments, but not throughout both discs as this one does.
