The Millennium - Begin album FLAC

The Millennium's Begin is a bona fide lost classic. The brainchild of producers Curt Boettcher and Gary Usher, the group was formed out of the remnants of their previous studio project, Sagittarius - which had been preceded by yet another aggregation, the Ballroom.

Begin is the only studio album ever released by the collective known as the Millennium during its lifetime (though there have been several compilations since the group's demise). Begin has gained notoriety throughout the years as being the most expensive album that Columbia Records had released by that time, though critics generally agree that the money was well spent. A later reissue featured the single versions of several tracks from the album. In 2001 the album reissued as the third CD in the three-disc set Magic Time, released by Sundazed Records in 2001. It features all of the bonus tracks from the two previous versions, but "Just About The Same" and "Blight" are presented in mono, whereas they were presented in their original stereo mixes on the 1990 release.

Magic Time is an extensive three-disc compilation album containing music from the sunshine pop bands The Millennium, The Ballroom and Sagittarius and the artist Curt Boettcher. It was released in 2001. It contains the entire Begin album by The Millennium and all of the single versions of songs from that album, as well as the entire previously unreleased album by The Ballroom and numerous demos by The Ballroom, Sagittarius and Boettcher.

The Millennium's Begin is a bona fide lost classic.

Being a big fan of The Millennium, I really appreciate the rewrite of this page. 217 (talk) 01:14, 26 April 2017 (UTC). I'm glad you dig it! I just purchased the album this year and was like "yikes! where have you been all my life?!" One thing lead to another, and now I got a bit crazy about it! Glad to hear someone is reading these things. ) Andrzejbanas (talk) 14:07, 1 May 2017 (UTC).

Begin is the sole studio album released by the American music group The Millennium released in July 1968 on Columbia Records. The group first appeared after members from various Los Angeles pop groups such as The Ballroom, Sagittarius and The Music Machine decided to collaborate on an album. Along with adapting previously recorded material, the band began recording and writing the music of Begin in early 1968 at Columbia Studios.
