Equinoxe 4 sound's very different from the regular album version (an almost completely different soundscape), but sounds many times better here. Although it wouldn't have fitted on the album, it's good that this got it's own release On the B side is the new mix of Equinoxe 5, on the original album the mainlead comes from the left. On the new one the mainlead comes from the middle and fades outward, nothing special, but worth mentioning though. Jean Michel Jarre - Equinoxe Part 5 (B-Side - Equinoxe 4 Version Inédite 12) 4:00. quinoxe (English: Equinox) is the fourth studio album by French electronic musician and composer Jean-Michel Jarre, released in December 1978 on the Disques Dreyfus record label, with license to Polydor. Jarre had developed his sound, employing more dynamic and rhythmic elements, particularly a greater use of sequencing on basslines. Much of this was achieved using custom equipment developed by his collaborator Michel Geiss.
