Cypress Hill – Hand On The Pump Lyrics. from album: Cypress Hill (1991). Well I'm an alley cat, some say a dirty rat, On my side you see my gat, see I'm all of that. Sendin' off buck shots for I'm gonna wetcha, Running hard, but I'm still coming to getcha. Thinking like a peace smoke, comin on a homicide, You talkin shit, try to take me for a ride. I'm not a bad guy, but I'm the funky feel one, Finger on the trigger with my hands upon the steel. Kickin' that funky Cypress Hill shit, Take a lot of mental for the blunted to chill with, 'cause I'm the chill one, known to get I'll one, They stepped to the Hill "What's up?", I had to kill one. Now I'm headed up the river with a boat and no paddle And they got me on lock down. Headed up the river with a boat and no paddle And they got me on lock down. Hit me like a nigga who done lost his mind Cause I ain't goin out like a spineless jellyfish.

Album : Cypress Hill Label : Ruffhouse Records. How I Could Just Kill a Man. DJ Muggs: Originally, it was to a different beat, and it was called ‘Trigger Happy Nigga. Back in the days, we would always do the songs at my house on a cassette 4-track. The first single we wanted was ‘Hand on the Pump’ and ‘How I Could Just Kill a Ma. The label was like, ‘No. We want ‘The Phuncky Feel One,’ and we’ll throw ‘Kill a Man’ on the b-side. So they shot the video for ‘Phuncky Feel On. Crickets. The record came out, we sold zero records in the first three months. But in New York, ‘Kill a Man’ started bubbling. It was getting played every day, so there was demand for the video. So we had two days off while we were on the Naughty by Nature tour, and we were in New York.
