And their album Suburbia is easily their best. It has a strong "Defend Pop Punk"-vibe that's real popular with the teens nowadays, but beneath that it's a really solid and expansive pop punk album. As the American Pie phase of pop punk was burning off like toxic waste, a lot of bands were jockeying to be that new kind of sound. And then in 2004, Say Anything accidentally popped out this really inspired and interesting album full of snarling and gang vocals and interesting song structures. They even ended up soundtracking a few TV shows (like Scrubs LOL) and got that "Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too" song on MTV.

Morrison used to live) & close by to where Rodney on the Rock was living (& still lives) he had a gun metal blue Pontiac Lemans style GTO which was always parked in his driveway. that I used to admire every time I drove by, well I was in the Okie Dog Parking lot after 2am & the.

Just step outside and see me baby I was a punk before you were a punk You want some action? I'll put your ass in traction baby I was a punk before you were I was a punk before you I was a punk before you were I was a punk before you. We were a joke at our own record label They told us, "Make a record, if you're able" They told us not to take too many chances And we pissed away our big advances The producer we got was a jerk but White Punks was one song that worked It was shot in the dark that just missed the mark. and they all seem to copy just us We never got reimbursed for the punks that were first. I was a punk before you were a punk You don't believe me? Just step outside and see me baby I was a punk before you were a punk You want some action?

the only album they released during the 1980s, before reuniting in the 21st century, is punk rock as wall of noise, with Roger Miller’s guitar and Martin Swope’s tape effects washing over Clint Conley’s melodic basslines and Peter Prescott’s complex drum patterns. It’s a furious sound that’s both passionate and cerebral, and a pivotal influence on some of the best underground guitar rock of the last 30 years. 34.
