I didn't care for it much when I first heard it, preferring DSotM and Animals, but now I absolutely love the album. Still love Animals and DSotM as much, if not more now, but Meddle has risen above the other albums faster than any other album I've grown to love. Arguably the most personal album Roger wrote for the Floyd, certainly the most lyrically emotive and contains some of the best songs from their entire catalogue. If you're looking for an album concerned with honesty of expression and breaking new ground rather than over-produced musical trappings, this is one of the Floyd's very best.
