Pat Henry has been great for my son. We loved his teacher if it weren't for her he would have never learned to read. The previous school and unfortunately the school he has to return to did not teach him to read. He attended Pat Henry for 3rd and 4th grade for that specific reason. However because they have cancelled the program he was going on he now has to return to the school that so miserably failed him and his elder brothers.

He realized that this may be the plant we were looking for, so he quickly cut some stems and packed and posted them to us. We were absolutely delighted, when, after getting them and comparing the leaves with the drawings and photographs of the herbarium specimens of . linophylla, we realized that this was indeed the rose species we had been looking for. We were able to make some plants, and this has been the basis of some of our clinophylla seedlings, while others have been fro the Bengal clone of the species sent to us later by Dr . Sen of Asansol, West Bengal State. When we sent this rose to the USA to our friend Pat Henry who runs the Roses Unlimited Nursery in S. Carolina, she grew it and liked it so much that she wanted us to name it for her. We were happy to do so because it meant that she felt that this was a superior rose.
