Unearth - The Oncoming Storm album FLAC

The Oncoming Storm is the second studio album by American metalcore band, Unearth. It was released on June 29, 2004 through Metal Blade Records. The album was produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, and was their first major release through Metal Blade Records. This was also their first album with drummer Mike Justian and bassist John "Slo" Maggard, replacing Mike Rudberg and Chris "Rover" Rybicki respectively.

Unlike bands in the same genre, Unearth utilise 7-string guitars and the the onslaught of brutal noise is quite intense. Track 1: The Great Dividers. Probably one of the more recognisable songs off 'The Oncoming Storm' and it is a damn fine one. The blistering solos are what really sets this track alight. Again, the drums and bass also impress.

The Oncoming Storm . 2004. В общем, если из Killswitch Engage выбросить чистый вокал и всякие Nu-metal элементы, получится Unearth. А еще от мелодий веет "олдскульностью", а это уже на любителя.

The Oncoming Storm (2004) by Unearth. Labels: Metal Blade Records. Genres: Melodic Metalcore Members: Trevor Phipps, Buz McGrath, Ken Susi, John "Slo" Maggard, Mike Justian.

If Unearth wanted to cover a classic Dean Martin hit, the logical choice would be 1960's "Ain't That a Kick in the Head" - not because The Oncoming Storm sounds anything at all like the late Rat Pack crooner, but because Unearth does, in fact, feel like a kick in the head
