Ryuichi Sakamoto - Async - Remodels album FLAC
Ryuichi Sakamoto – Async - Remodels. Label: Commmons – RZCM-86410. Released: 13 Dec 2017. I'm not feeling the Arca remix, which puts a damper on the flow. The trouble is that the original album is just so strong. There are few moments that are as singular as Ryuichi's originals, but if you like the originals, these are good additions. ASYNC – REMODELS is an album of "reconstructions" of tracks from Japanese producer Ryuichi Sakamoto's nineteenth solo studio album async (2017). The album includes eleven reworks (twelve on the Japanese release) by producers such as Jóhann Jóhannsson, Fennesz, Cornelius, Oneohtrix Point Never, Electric Youth, and Arca
Ryuichi Sakamoto - Async - Remodels "I actually thought it could be my last one," Ryuichi Sakamoto told me last year about his 16th solo album, 2017's async. I just wanted to put down just what I wanted to hear. I wanted to hear sounds of everyday objects-even musical instruments-as things. There have been few careers like Sakamoto's: electro pop superstar as a member of Yellow Magic Orchestra, early adaptor of digital sampling as a solo artist, electroacoustic improviser and Academy Award-winning composer. Along the way, he crossed paths with David Byrne, Iggy.
The collection ultimately ends up feeling like a tribute as well as a remix album, serving to highlight Sakamoto's considerable influence on generations of forward-thinking electronic musicians.
Ryuichi Sakamoto's async was among the most acclaimed experimental albums of 2017, as well as one of the veteran composer's most well-received solo works in decades. The original async pieces are inspired by everyday objects and sculptures, and they distill sounds and atmospheres into audio snapshots that might seem alien at first, but become clearer and more resonant on repeated listens.
Ryuichi Sakamoto: async Remodels by Nenad Georgievski, published on February 17, 2018. Envisioned as a soundtrack to a non-existent Andrei Tarkovsky film, the album Async showcased his illimitable inventiveness. The music indicated his distinct and very personal, free-styled approach to sounds, moods, shapes and characters that he named as "async. With its flowing, ambient, immersive and sometimes dissonant nature, it blends multiple unusual sounds, colors and moods into abstract paintings full of distinct character.
Released December 13, 2017. async remodels Tracklist. 1. Andata (Oneohtrix Point Never Rework) Lyrics. 2. Andata (Electric Youth Remix) Lyrics.
