Vervollständigen Sie Ihre The Hafler Trio-Sammlung. Again this is an album forming one single track, yet divided into 11 serarate pieces. The opening track is ‘Sheet’ Level Approach which begins with metallic noise, passes through several never-very-distinct phases, reaching the sea, where the terror vehicle plays in the waves. It suddenly changes to a lot more atmospheric thing, almost ambient, tipping back into the hot-metal-lubed throbbing heart of the sound. Extract From Exercises In Conjunction With The Emotional Responses Uncurred During A Performance Of Oath is another huge factory sound which shuffles, roars and cracks along for a good length of time with no unpleasant surprises. The Same Room, Left finishes the album off with it’s passive, minimal drum beat, before ending on a rising ‘stuck needle’ sound. I’m not sure what to make of this personally.
