Post Mortem is the second album by the American heavy metal band Black Tide, released on August 23, 2011. The album was produced by Josh Wilbur and GGGarth. It is the band's first album to feature guitarist Austin Diaz, after the departure of Alex Nuñez in 2008. The album was originally intended to be self-titled and was set for release in February 2011, but it was later announced that the album would be titled Post Mortem and the release date would be pushed back to August 23, 2011.

Post Mortem’ leaves the group's es riffs in the rearview mirror, as it features polished production and feels a little less metal and a lot more mainstream rock. Frontman Gabriel Garcia has gone on record to say that his influences on this album stretch the gamut from U2 to Pantera, offering up some explanation for the shift in tone. While the overall theme of the album seemingly revolves around death, the life on the album is what will draw you in. Black Tide still have many years to define their sound, but this year, with this album, they simply rock.
