mhzesent - Starless And Bible Black Ep album FLAC
Starless and Bible Black is the sixth studio album by English progressive rock band King Crimson, released in March 1974 by Island Records in the United Kingdom and by Atlantic Records in the United States.
This EP is filled with thought provoking samples and incredible drum lines.
Interweaving studio and live recordings, Starless and Bible Black is King Crimson’s most spontaneous, yet ferociously commanding, work. The title song takes shape out of a noxious haze, as Robert Fripp’s gooey guitar drips off John Wetton’s skeletal bassline. The Mincer and We’ll Let You Know locate a similarly burping, menacing iteration of funk. While the restless roar of The Great Deceiver splits the different between Black Sabbath and Celtic fiddle, the atonal, writhing funk of Lament anticipates Fugazi, Jesus Lizard, and math rock by two decades.

Starless and Bible Black is even more powerful and daring than its predecessor, Larks' Tongues in Aspic, with jarring tempo shifts, explosive guitar riffs, and soaring, elegant, and delicate violin and Mellotron parts scattered throughout its 41 minutes, often all in the same songs.
