Justin E. Wilson (April 24, 1914 – September 5, 2001) was a Southern American chef and humorist known for his brand of Cajun-inspired cuisine, humor and storytelling. Wilson was born in Roseland near Amite, the seat of Tangipahoa Parish, one of the "Florida Parishes" of southeastern Louisiana. He was the second youngest of seven children of Harry D. Wilson, the Louisiana Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry from 1916 to 1948 and a former member of the Louisiana House of Representatives.

Justin Wilson Southern Products LLC was created to continue the legacy and fine products produced by Justin Wilson. ad the joy and humor of the late Justin Wilson. After pursuing a career as a safety engineer, Justin traveled up and down the bayous for years telling Cajun stories. He found an ever-growing market for his tales, and was finally persuaded to put them on record so that a vast number of people could enjoy them. He composed 10 songs, as well as composing the background music for his world-renowned cooking show and recorded one album of Christmas songs with a jazz band. A professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, Justin never quit wearing both a belt and suspenders-there were some things he’d just never leave to chance. But he described himself most often as a "damn good cook"!
