How long have the Bells been back together? Danger Mouse first teased the Broken Bells reunion via Twitter in August, sharing a photo of himself and Mercer in the studio together. The picture was dated Aug. 13, but based on the two’s social media interactions, it might be inferred that the collaboration began again in earnest in the spring of 2018. Starting in March, Danger Mouse’s JukeBox playlist began featuring more of Mercer’s work, both as The Shins and as Broken Bells. Danger Mouse Jukebox (erMouseJuke) August 29, 2018.

Taco Bell’s history actually dates back further than most people probably think (although not as far back as, say, McDonald’s). The chain’s founder and namesake, Glen Bell, opened his first fast food joint in San Bernardino, Calif. in 1948 - but it wasn’t a Tex-Mex spot; it was a hot dog stand. In recent years, Taco Bell, which is now owned by Yum! Brands, has been boosting its portfolio somewhat; in addition to regular Taco Bells, of which there are around 7,000 worldwide, it now operates a handful of urban in-line spots and Taco Bell Cantinas.

The Bells is the ninth solo studio album by American musician Lou Reed, released in April 1979 by Arista Records. It is recorded in binaural sound. Several songs on the album are the product of a short-lived writing partnership between Reed and Nils Lofgren. Other of the team's work appeared on Nils' eponymous album of the same year

Broken Bells is an American indie rock band composed of artist-producer Brian Burton (better known as Danger Mouse) and James Mercer, the lead vocalist and guitarist for the indie rock band The Shins. Broken Bells compose and create as a duo, but are joined by Dan Elkan and Jon Sortland when performing live. The previous live band included Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band sidemen Nate Walcott and Nik Freitas, and Jonathan Hischke and Dan Elkan, both ex-members of Hella.

After The Disco' is an album to dance to, whereas 'Broken Bells' was one to exist within. The new and impressive can hit you in the way that tragedy does, paralyzing you as it crafts a crystalline memory of where exactly you were when you heard it; when it changed you. The first time I heard Broken Bells‘ self-titled LP, I was in a coffee shop and boy, don’t that sound trite. It was my twentieth birthday and I was eating homemade rum cake from a man who would soon become my best friend in New Orleans
