Bruce was a shark, the main antagonist in the Jaws film franchise, and was the collective name for a reoccurring group of supposedly mutated Great White Sharks thought to be closely related genetically. This particular incarnation of the shark was depicted in the film Jaws released in 1975. In addition, there were slightly similar looking designed sharks depicted in follow-up sequels (J2, J3D, and JTR respectively).

Jaws is a 1975 American thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg and based on Peter Benchley's 1974 novel of the same name. In the film, a giant man-eating great white shark attacks beachgoers on Amity Island, a fictional New England summer resort town, prompting police chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) to hunt it with the help of a marine biologist (Richard Dreyfuss) and a professional shark hunter (Robert Shaw). Murray Hamilton plays the mayor, and Lorraine Gary portrays Brody's wife

Jaws' is the original summer blockbuster, setting the standard by which all others are measured. It's the Michael Jordan of cinema: there will never be another 'Jaws,' simply because the film so profoundly changed the way movies are made and marketed. Consequently, the shark kills again (and again), and Chief Brody eventually finds himself dealing both with his own moral guilt for agreeing to hush up the first shark attack and with an enormous human and social catastrophe which appears to be his sole responsibility. To compensate for the absence of the non-functional fake shark, Spielberg used shots from the shark's point of view and John Williams' famous two-note theme to create the illusion of the shark's presence in the early scenes.

Jaws" sparked a period of great interest in great whites and established the unsubstantiated belief that sharks as a species are nothing more than bloodthirsty man-eaters, apex predators with no other purpose than to kill.

It is no surprise that we love to feel frightened by creatures like sharks and peer out between fingers over.

Brooklyn Beckham has made his directorial debut with the music video for JAWS‘ single ‘End Of The World’. The young photographer teamed up with his friend, fellow filmmaker Louis Berry, for the video shot in Coseley, West Midlands, the hometown of JAWS singer Connor Schofield. It was recorded at the town’s Roaring Tiger Karate Club as a tribute to drummer Eddy Geach’s late father who was a karate fan and practitioner. We wanted to use karate kids because they have a meaningful connection to the band and it’s a theme that follows from the album artwork. Speaking about the single and their collaboration, frontman Schofield said: ‘End Of The World’ has always been a favourite of ours since writing for the record so when Brooklyn put forward the idea of making a video for it we were into it straight away.
