Há músicas de Carole King lindíssimas mas resolvi fazer esse clipe, com essa música em especial para homenagear ". A", meu primeiro amor. Hearing Carole more than ten years after "Tap" was very encouraging after hearing a song from the "One to One" album. Добавить комментарий. Carole King - One to One 1982.

By her own admission, Carole King is consumed with writing these days more than music. After publishing her memoir A Natural Woman in 2012, the enduring singer, songwriter and pianist is at work on her first-ever novel. But earlier this month, she returned to a piano - and even her long-ago workplace - for her first new recording in seven years. At the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Ultimate Women’s Power Luncheon in San Francisco in September, King appeared alongside Hillary Clinton to raise funds for congressional candidates

Reviews about Carole King - One To One (1):
Hamrl
Spun this disc on a long drive yesterday. I had the LP when it was released; and bought this Wounded Bird reissue specifically for the road. As with other Wounded Bird reissues, I'm underwhelmed with their tech. The volume levels are so soft, I have to crank the sound higher than most other CDs to hear it. Carole King has some great tracks and some strange ones here. "Lookin' Out For Number One" is not a greatest hit or a track one usually recalls from the King cannon, but it is a blistering rock track with searing electric guitar. The title track and "Read Between The Lines" are also gems. "Goat Annie" is a strange tune that seems to be a hybrid between King's "Smackwater Jack" and Tony Joe White's "Polk Salad Annie." It doesn't work that well. Overall, this is a good set with some great tracks.
