Craig Blundell - The Electronica Groove Challenge album FLAC
A drummer for many people. Constantly trying to be different but always being myself. Off the back of this, Craig launched his Electronica Groove Challenge in March of 2011 and has since gone on to compose music for many companies globally including TV theme tunes and adverts. Craig is a real innovator of his trade and continues to push the boundaries of his instrument with his relentless workload, drive and motivation. His tireless, infectious energy and desire to help others makes him one of the most respected players and educators on the international circuit today.
Challenge! is the debut studio album by Japanese rock band Flower Travellin' Band, then called Yuya Uchida & The Flowers, released in 1969. It features mainly cover songs, and was a means for Yuya Uchida to explore the emerging psychedelic rock movement outside his own career, and to introduce the work of upcoming Western bands such as Cream, Big Brother and the Holding Company, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Jefferson Airplane to a Japanese audience
Of course this being Craig Blundell, who also juggles an R&D position with Roland, this isn't the only gig he has on the horizon. In fact 2015 looks absolutely jam packed. I also I have a load more to do at the BBC in March

Craig Blundell talks about how he uses V-Drums and Roland SPD-SX sample pads in Steven Wilson's band. As a battle-tested session warrior, Craig Blundell doesn’t do nerves. Even so, the long-standing Roland artist will admit that slipping onto the drum stool for Steven Wilson was not a gig for the faint-hearted. Contributed by Roland UK. In this exclusive video interview, filmed during soundcheck at the British prog giant’s Royal Albert Hall shows in September, Craig reveals how an initial text last Christmas led to an audition, then a job offer – and the prospect of learning almost five hours of concept-driven, tempo-shifting material.
