Carpenters - Carpenters album FLAC

Carpenters is the third studio album by American music duo Carpenters. Released on May 14, 1971, it was their most successful studio album, reaching number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and number 12 in the UK. The album contained the hit songs "For All We Know", "Rainy Days and Mondays" and "Superstar". It has been said that the strength of these recordings is what caused Richard Carpenter to ask his sister to front the band for their live performances instead of playing behind the drums.

The Carpenters are releasing a new album with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. 2 November 2018, 12:42 Updated: 2 November 2018, 12:56. The Carpenters produced some of the most beautiful pop songs of all time, and now they're being reimagined with a full orchestra. The Carpenters' last album was 1981's Made in America, though Richard has released a number of posthumous compilations since then. Karen passed away in 1983 at the age of 32 from heart failure caused by complications related to anorexia. The greatest Carpenters songs of all time.

Their self-titled album, Carpenters, is for many the pinnacle of their achievements, including as it does, a fabulous medley of Bacharach songs, their 1971 hits ‘For All We Know’ ‘Rainy Days and Mondays’ and the exquisite, ‘Superstar’, written by Bonnie Bramlett and Leon Russell. It shows Richard Carpenter’s brilliant ear for a song and is arguably one of Karen’s greatest ever-vocal renditions – brilliantly supported by Richard’s arrangement. In 1981 the Carpenters released their final album as a duo recorded during Karen’s lifetime, Made In America. Since Karen’s passing, Richard has said it was both his and Karen’s favourite album that they made together.

Horizon is the sixth studio album by American musical duo Carpenters. It was recorded at A&M Studios (mainly in Studio "D" using t 24-track recording technology, 30 Dolby, and recorded at 30 inches per second) After five consecutive albums peaking inside the US top five, Horizon broke this run by reaching no. 13. With this release, the group's popularity declined steadily for the remainder of their career
